Join renowned author, alchemist & spiritual abolitionist Rachel Ricketts for an engaging & enlightening webinar on Black resistance and radical hope in honor of Black Futures (24/7/365).
This webinar supports attendees deepen their understanding of Black resistance in all its forms (from a space of curiosity as much as critique) & how all iterations of Black resistance can - and should - inspire us into aligned action in these tumultuous times.
Using mindful prompts we’ll:
unpack differing interpretations of what is & is not resistance (and why),
explore the global impact of Black resistance, and
practice radical hope to take embodied action in the name of Black, and thus collective, liberation.
**This webinar centers the care, commentary & comfort of Black beings, especially Black queer, trans, mad, crip, neurospicy, sick and/or disabled women, femmes & gender expansive folx. All aligned beings are welcome.
Folx will leave:
more rooted in their interpretation & understanding of resistance,
more ready and able to credit, uplift & celebrate our radical Black ancestors, and

1) Black folx seeking a space of celebration to honor our/your ancestors, all the ways they overcame & how we can continue their legacy with and from joy & hope,
2) all folx looking to deepen their understanding of Black resistance from the global diaspora, the ways we can all glean from Black resistance to better fight oppression in our lives and world and root into HOPE for radical action,
3) peeps who be tired of the distracting tomfoolery on the innanet streets trying to promote in-fighting & disinformation about what is or isn’t resistance or revolutionary - especially by & between Black beings (so, yes, we’ll cover Kendrick!),
4) those ready, able & willing to center queer, trans, mad, neurospicy, sick and/or disabled Black women, femmes & gender expansive folx and our well-being and liberation.
